Recruiting Update
Cougars sign Wilson High School's Hannah Jacobern March 09, 2008
The Cougars recently announced the signing of Hannah Jacober. Jacober, a product of Woodrow Wilson High School in Portland, OR, will join the squad as a middle blocker for the Cougars in 2008.
She was appointed to the first team all-league squad in 2007 while leading the Trojans in blocks over the past two seasons.Her performance in '07 resulted in her selection as Wilson's Most Valuable Player.
Jacober's hard work landed her as the team's 'most inspirational' player honors in 2006, a year in which she led Wilson in serving percentage and garnered a second team all-league selection.
Jacober intends to study Communications/Journalism while at Clackamas.
"I am so excited to have Hannah join us. She is a quick learner and has an explosive approach," commented Coach Kathie Woods. "She adds depth to our middle position and she is a joy to watch. Hannah is coachable and will fit perfectly into our philosophy at Clackamas. She is a good student and is disciplined. We are excited to have a person like Hannah join the Cougs."

Fundraiser News
The Nafanua Board members did an outstanding job on our very first fundraiser. The auction went well and the food and entertainments was great.
Thanks for all your help and support for the much needed program to assist the girls of our community. What you have given benefits the club program as well as the scholarship program.
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Nafanua Volleyball Organization Scholarship Program has helped 20 girls in its first year. This great scholarship program is formed by Nafanua Volleyball board members to assist athletes who can't afford the program fees. We are looking foward to a wonderful season ahead.
